"Municipal Buildings, erected at a cost of about $2,000,000, and are some of the most beautiful specimens of architecture in this country. The Administration building on the right is for City Office purposes. The Auditorium on the far left has a seating capacity for 4,000 people. The Campanile or Clock Tower, rises to an elevation of 300 feet and contains the Municipal Chimes of 12 bells, costing $10,000."
