In the outdoor season of 1929, Tech competed at Suffield, Enfield, Northampton, and in the interschool meet. In the interschool meet, "Bob" Bigelow, our present captain, clipped two seconds off the quarter-mile record and set a new mark. The team, however, was without the services of its old coach, "Ray" Parker, and lost the meet to Commerce by two points.

This year the team is coached by "Bob" Stout and the aspirants are anxious to regain the title.
