Westfield Normal Association


          First Anniversary of the "Westfield Normal Association" will be celebrated at the Normal Hall, on the 6th of September next, services to commence at 10 o'clock, A. M.

Hon. Horace Mann,


Member of Congress, and Secretary of the Mass. Board of Education,
         Has consented to Address the Association on the occasion. Speeches from several other Gentlemen of talent may be expected.
         A select choir will be in attendance, to add interest to the occasion by some choice and appropriate music.
         A Collation will be prepared for the entertaiment of the Association, by the liberality of our own Westfield friends.
         A cordial invitation is extended to all present and former members of the Westfield Normal School, including those who were connected with it before its removal from Barre, to be present and participate in the pleasures of the occasion.
         The Secretary will be happy to receive communications, sentiments, &c., from those who may be unable to favor us with their presence.
